Officine Panerai

I happen to like blue dialed pams very much, and if I'm not mistaken, there's a very nice 6152-1 that comes with a nice, blue shimmery dial -- ahh, grail piece!

While this blue eyed boy of mine is not everyone's cuppa tea, I really like the contrast between the blue dial and the tritium indices. It remains - up to date - my favourite sub.  Furthermore, this watch is a bang for the buck!~

As I develop my interest in other brands, Panerai still remains my #1 The experience I've gathered over time from these watches is really just wonderful and truly amazing. Just wanna share some wrist shots and pix of this pup, enjoy...

This 87 is a real nice watch.

It lives a bit under the shadow of its Sister, the Bomba 64, but the contrast between the blue dial and these almost deep yellow trititum indexes is just ...HEAVEN!

Indisputably, the La Bomba (PAM 64) is one of the more desired Submersibles. But I'm just a goon when it comes to blue dials Thanks mon ami, will let you know the outcome soon.

Regarding vintage Panerai, I do not know one that did not have a black dial, but there were discolorations from gray through tobacco to brown/tan. There is a 6152 owned by our friend Eng that under certain lighting can show a hint of blue but the dial is definitely black. I wonder if that's the one you mean?

There is also a great pic by Nicky of her 87 on a killer strap. I hope she reads this and can post that beautiful pic!

I hope to see it one day in the metal and snap a pic or two. If my memory serves me well, I remember him saying it shimmers under certain light conditions. Maybe you can confirm Hope all is well on your side Asi; hagw!

I feel the same way about Panerai.  There's a soft spot in my heart for Panerai, and I cannot imagine a collection without at least one.

Although I'm partial towards the blue dials of Panerai, shades of brown are what I enjoy as well. Some of the most desired pieces come with the tobacco dials -- what not to love?

The background really makes the pretty blue dial pop!  I like blue-dialed watches a lot, so this is a particularly nice sub IMO.

I'm a huge sucker for blue dial and I jumped on the 87 when it first came out:

Neat collection of blue dials you've got there The firenze chrono is a killer, Jester. Another blue dialed PAM that I really like is the PAM 82. What a beauty, that one...with a nice caseback to boot.

is it me, or did I notice on the pics that the hands are starting to oxydate ??  watch out for that if it is the case, mine had the same problem but OP took care of it and replaced them.

Yes those hands are oxidized. Would hope to replace them soon!
