You will never have my.....
vote, in favour of "letting it go". You know I've had more Panerais then socks. In time, some of the individual pieces stopped "singing" to me and I let them go. Although I haven't worn in ages, not for a second I would consider giving the Fiddy away. NEVER Lollllllllllllllllllll That being said whatever you decide will work for you 
If you want to change why not? I like the aspects of it you mention but I also really like the Radiomir 40mm, have you tried one?

Well put Bruno. I don't have a Fiddy but I do have a few other 47mm Panerais
My wrist is only 6.8" so these watches (673, 587, 249) look almost cartoonishly large, unless I'm in my submersible barreling underwater toward an enemy ship. But, oddly enough, they're comfortable ... and so beautiful that I don't have the heart to sell them.
