Absolutely Beautiful
Very nice pics of a very nice, classic, military watch. The Italian designers got it right with perfect proportions and an ingenious crown protector that not only protects the crown from blows but doesn't wear out the crown gaskets because it is not a screw-down mechanism that would otherwise wear down the crown gaskets with all the screwing out and screwing in just in order to wind the watch every day or two. Panerais to me are the equivalent of Ferrari/Lamborghini in innovation and performance.

The more I see models like the 000....
005, 111, 112 the more I feel that the saying: you have to change everything, in order to change...nothing, is alive and well. The more concoctions "for the turists" they come out with, the more people today (like the ones in the recent past) identify a PANERAI for its simplicity and essence. Go figure. I don't have a 000 but ONLY because, by the time I discovered the existence of the model, I had already bought a 5218-201A...
