Introducing "The Brute" ... Ref 341 Egiziano...
Some friends here already know and have encouraged me with this first catch of 2017 of which I talked in my previous post.
As a matter of fact, till last Sunday I never considered owning such a monster watch but a surprising finding on Monday brought the dilemma to my collector mind.
Why buy a 60 mm diameter watch you know you won't wear? Well... some may call it madness, some will say collectors ' passion.
I prefer the words of our friend Sergio: this is an "state of mind watch" and I'm sure many friends here will understand why I finally decided to own this watch as a magnificent representation of an historical and important piece of history of Panerai.
Here are my first shots of The Brute playing Piggy Back as Sergio did with his Fiddy, and lacking of such illustrious model in my collection I did the same with my Pam 590 which will be on my wrist this week end!
The 590 show an strong inspiration on the Egiziano so I like to call it my "Mini Egiziano"

again, would like to congratulate you for the purchase. It takes both passion for the brand and enormours (and I repeat ENORMOUS) "uevos" to get the Egyptian. You'll enjoy the "thought" of owning one, more than you'll ever know. Heck I also like the coniage of the moniker "mini Egiziano" for the 590.

Glad to see you finally made your decision and ended buying a piece I really consider collectible. There are many 44 and 47mm Pams around but only one 60mm
That piece is truly magnificent!

Yes, I feel that wearing over the sleeve of a thick diving suit was the way original designers viewed the use of this watch!
Don't forsee much wearing on my wrist but I am surely enjoying it anyway as a magnificent piece of collection for a Panerai lover!

I'm still behind you in quantity of pieces though being this one my thirteenth Pam.
I didn't even dream to own this watch just five days ago! This was a sudden unexpected opportunity which arised a lot of thoughts and doubts but the possibility of owning a great piece of collecting and the encouragement of some friends here finally convinced me to make the plunge!
