As of yesterday, I am officially closer to 40 than I am to 30. It is bittersweet and I wanted to commemorate the occasion by honoring the presence of my two little bright stars...

Friedrich Nietzsche said, "One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star. "
I must have a great deal of chaos inside me since I have two dancing stars that I'm grateful for.
And...I can wear a watch to cover them up in the presence of parents and in-laws...lol.
Anyone else have body art to share?
Indeed it is an honor to share a birthday with Mr. Funny Hairy Man himself...
Hope yours was memorable.
Best to you and yoru family during the holiday season and a happy new year.

My wife's birthday is on Dec 18th!!! (Just got back from the dinner!) The 3rd star perhaps?
Happy Birthday to Ping & Nicholas!
what about AT?
Everyone tells C that she has THREE children...
;-)
Happy Birthday, Ping; it only gets better...
TM
(awkward laugh - we husbands sure know where we are in the hierarchy of things, don't we?
)
...that it only gets better. And yes, AT is like a third child at times. *sigh* being the only adult in the clan is taxing at times but someone has to do it.
And I'll get the third one when AT gets his...lol
What a chicken.
but I guess I'm a chicken. Maybe some day in the future.
- AT

No special meal unfortunately. Not sure if I'd want to eat his cooking...might end up with Ramen noodles for dinner, lol.
I have this line I say to my friends who appreciate wine; "May you age like a fine wine, forever hitting your peak..." I sometimes use it again for the same person, as long as they haven't hit their peak.
If anyone sells that to Hallmark cards, I'm going to be very cross!
Happy birthday! And remember, it doesn't matter how old you are, it's how young at heart you are that counts.
Age is just a number and what's in the heart and mind are timeless.
Thank you for the thoughtful note and I wish you and your family the best during the holidays and a happy new year.
