One of best steakhouses I've ever eaten at was John's. I used to eat there 3 times a year. It was close to the Delta Beesborough. Unfortunately I think it has closed.
Pizza in Saskatoon is different. But good. They put the toppings down and then cover them with cheese.

Not necessarily true. My cousins own 16 of them in my city in the USA. Can't beat their coffee.
