A very nice specimen you have, here.
Art's Connie just killed me.
This Black dial, and warm indexes is very attractive, indeed, and if you add the fact that it is a timeless beauty, n wonder why so many people love this watch.
Good luck in your hunt.
Best,
Nicolas.

Hi Dennis.
IMHO, I would save the money to go for the best, don't settle for less. The one on the right is in a unishell, that I don't like. On top of the hour markers, are they painted black or with onyx inserts? May I ask..

Hi Dennis.
Talking about the bumper movements, I prefer the 2699 over the 2799 just because the 2699 is the first model with Pie pan dials which openned a golden era of the legendary Pie pan dials.
Here is my 2699, in pristine condition with De Luxe dial.
My best bet is also a 168005 18K version with 18K piepan dial + a crosshair.
I haven't seen a second one like that yet (so rare huh)
Best.
Hoi.
Hi,
This SM with the Connie-style solid 18K deluxe dial is one of the rarest versions!
Could you please post a very large image where we could see some more details of this beauty?
thanks
Erich

Hi Dennis.
That's a very nice one you have, I've seen two before but none of them can compare to yours.
Congrats.
Hoi.
ps. the hands are a bit long, don't you think ?

Thank you very much.
