They have developed a patina on the Tritium Lume that is in some instances even nicer than on their older counterparts and they still offer tremendous value for money.
Yours is a great looking Omega Speedmaster and that strap works really well with it too.

I tried it on the bracelet ald although it is excellent I prefer it on the strap.
As I was exiting a restaurant Friday night I noticed a Speedmaster . . .
. . . on the wrist of a young guy having supper with a companion. Couldn't help myself - I had to compliment him on his choice. A prior generation cal 1861 model like yours . . . immaculate condition.

I still like the modern iterations but they lack a certain charme you can only get through a slightly faded greyish dial with subtle brown undertones and creamy yellowed Tritium. Until the mid 90s that was, then the switch to Luminova happened.
