Regrettably it was short lived in Omega catalog.

... the timepiece was delivered. The seller sent me the Omega certificate but when I received it I observed he had sent me a wrong one from a similar watch so he said he would send the correct one but never received it back.

Here are images of a '59 two-tone ref 2846 I took in '08 . . .
. . . that belonged to a co-worker who had inherited it from his brother, the original owner. My co-worker even had the original invoice from a Texas jeweler that indicated the sale of an optional bracelet.
I believe the bracelet on your Ranchero is likely original as Riley's ref 2846 was issued the same year.

Interestingly enough, Burt Ward, who played Robin, performed most of his own stunts in the series, unlike Adam West whose face was entirely hidden, making the use of a stunt double more feasible.
Which kind of mirrors the relationship between the Ranchero and the Rail . . . the Rail got the glamor working with scientists while the Ranchero got muddy working with livestock.

Ha ha ha! You make an interesting comparison dear Art. Never thought that! But you are right they could be seen as the Batman and Robin.
I was a fan of that TV show when I was young and still feel that it was the most faithful rendering of the original magazine characters.
I wish that Omega would reissue the Ranchero with a faithful watch like they made with the Railmaster (but with a manual wind movement!)

It's the only watch I know that has the diameter written on the dial! Do you know other examples?
The '30mm' text on the dial . . .
. . . refers to the diameter of the movement, Massi. In the world of Omega, at least, the Ranchero is unique in that regard.
