That part of the clasp is going to take most of the beating, having it finished to a high polish makes no sense whatsoever unless they use some special alloy or coating. It does look like the main requirement from management/marketing was to make the watch as shiny and with as many angles as possible, just plain weird.
Yes many brands continue to go with some form of polished finish on their clasps π€·π»ββοΈ It is very shiny with many angles. I will try to see this in the metal soon, but really donβt see my opinion swayed
