The 1894 Homage was a long-term goal of mine, Dje, realized four years ago. Lusted after one for maybe fifteen years prior . . . it was a happy day when this example arrived from Japan, and even happier when my watchmaker serviced it.

I keep the 1894 in a safe deposit box, taking it out . . .
. . . maybe twice annually. It's been on my dresser recently, slated to return to the bank soon.

I knew I would get one someday. I missed a few opportunities but that time it worked.
