Strap options for the Omega Seamaster 300 "Summer Blue".
Nothing wrong with the steel bracelet on which the Seamaster 300 "Summer Blue" edition is delivered.
The bracelet is attractive and well made but I always felt that that I would prefer this vintage inspired watch on a strap.
My prefered option is now a grey sailcloth strap from Artem.
With this strap I could even take advantage of an original Omega deployant clasp that I still had available !
Another option that I really like is with this taupe color leather strap.

Both straps look sharp with a slight nod to the grey as my preferred.

I personally would take a strap with a bit more “life” in it
From these though the grey one.

I choose some more neutral straps on purpose for this watch.
To make sure that nothing distracts from the splendid dial.
I can understand why.
The taupe leather can be a good alternative for the colder and darker seasons to come.
Yes,the grey sailcloth strap works very well with this watch.
And on top it is waterproof.
Both look great….
But I usually try to maintain all weather capabilities with divers so my choice would be the sailcloth. Even though the sailcloth on my Bathyscaphe began to degrade as soon as it got wet the first time. In fresh water!

It’s amazing how well aftermarket straps can work on divers. I have a couple canvas and sailcloth I’m looking forward to trying out soon!

The Artem has the advantage that it fits the loopless Omega deployant clasp.
