Yes, on a monthly basis!
I vastly prefer DHL which makes it much easier to select alternate delivery dates if you wish and as the truck draws closer DHL will provide with real time tracking. This way I can be 5 minutes away from home and know it’s fine because DHL is approximately 10 minutes away. It’s super convenient!
Everytime overnight FedEx West Coast to East Coast
Literally, everytime. Some dealers don't ship on Thursdays or Fridays anymore because of this. Going forward for FedEx priority overnight I have them ship to a local FedEx location so it'll be late but at least whenever it does get there you can go pick it up, don't have to wait an extra day or weekend for the drop off at your home/office. On the plus side, it usually works out. I had one FedEx overnight package lost for a couple weeks but they did find it.
FedEx ground is a different story. Don't even try to ship with them. Domestic US UPS is way way better. We ship hundreds of packages a month in the US across all the carriers, UPS is the best.

Yea in hindsight, I should have had it dropped off at my local FedEx. The seller asked for home delivery versus local FedEx delivery… Live and learn! The kicker is it’s only coming form a few states away, not coast to coast!

Look forward to Monday when the app will say it is NOT out for delivery, but it'll come Monday anyway.
Yes! Always try to have arrive Thursday or earlier!
But… if you have to ship so it can only arrive Friday, always pay for Saturday delivery option anyways; so you can get it delivered Saturday if there is a delay.
My approach like others said is to get it shipped to a local fed ex brick and mortar for hold; but I am lucky because I live less than 10 minutes away and of course never insure directly with fed ex but a 3rd party.

FedEx is my favorite of the main carriers and I have generally had great experiences with them. Hope they get you delivered soon!

But there was a time when I saw the truck outside and the driver never delivered the package. This was a Friday. Yet, I get a message stating resident was not home. They would attempt another delivery on Monday.
My office looks right out to the front. He never made any attempt to come to my door. I called FedEx and explained the situation as calmly as I could, which wasn’t easy.🤬 I was also able to give them the license plate number. The package was delivered before the COB on Friday!

I had a FedEx package with an IWC coming from Asia get lost for months and months. Finally when the seller and I agreed to move on and let insurance cover it, the package shows up out of nowhere after 6 months of waiting.
Many years ago I had a fine leather briefcase destroyed while in transit to me by presumably an overzealous customs inspector looking for contraband in between the layers of leather.
Never had issues with any of the other major carriers.
Needless to say, I steer clear of them when possible.
