I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer this dial over the the Apollo 11 50th anniversary model dial. I like the dark sub registers versus all the same color.

A watch in gold is a wonderful thing though.  Humans have loved gold for thousands of years.  Babies who have no understanding of the value of gold are even prone to liking it for its rich color alone even if it's not shiny.  This would highly suggest that this in-born behavior is part of the human evolution!  

I know I like yellow, rose and white gold as well 😀

I mean... How can one say no to gold...  Mr. Auric Goldfinger (the villain in the James Bond movie/book), your obsession with gold isn't that unique!

Really beautiful watch and yes, the black sub-dials provide a very nice contrast.

Tried these two on recently:

I saw the Apollo 11 moonshine gold appeared on the same platform again. I wonder if there’s anything wrong with the bezel edge because I’ve seen an earlier one with a small chip at the 130 mark, again?

Do you own the Moonshine Rubber strap as well? Great Speedy that is truly next level in Gold!

but was going to price it with Omega. I know the gold deployment is not going to be cheap though.
