New Omega 39mm Planet Ocean
Sometimes the string of events that leads to a purchase is amusing, interesting and comical. A good friend alerted me to the opening of an Omega pop up store nearby. He added that there would be someone from Omega
there that I know so I went mainly to see him but obviously to also see the new blue Seamaster offerings. I like many brands and various types of watches but if I we're going to describe my collection Omega, "diver" or "blue"
would be common denominators. All I know for sure is I thought I was safe, especially with so many blue divers but walked in wearing a nice 50 Fathoms and walked out wearing a sweet blue 39mm PO. Also I'd like to add that the
the experience and everyone involved was superb.
Actually the last pic was the Ultra Deep I was also looking at. Wonderful but too big for me. However the PO I bought also has a fantastic dial with a different but very nice texture.

Ah yes I didn't notice... really like the dial on yours and that blue lume is particularly cool, Ultra Deep pic really shows it well.

I believe the 39mm PO and the blue Ultra Deep will be regular production. They also had new blue versions of other Seamasters that Omega will officially reveal tomorrow.

Well done on that beautiful purchase. I prefer your dial texture as opposed to the Ultra Deep. Also I'm not a fan of 'here's Waldo at the bottom of the ocean' when shining a UV light on the dial.
I thought both watches and their dials looked great but no amount of steroids and weight training would make that Ultra Deep look proportionally correct on my 6 1/2" wrist!
That one was also darn nice... but just too much of a beast for me. I do love that the UD has no date!

I did try it on, and it looked fantastic. I can't fault it's good looks, and that dial texture
and gradation is wonderful. And I love big watches in additionm so I wish....
The only fault is the price. I need to think more about that.
And to be honest, the furtherst I swim underwater is about 1 foot (30cm), so.... 6,000m
will surely be enough for me. ha!
HaHa.... for me the primary limitation is the depth rating of my ears which is about 20 ft! Can't clear them. When I was young this ended flying lessons (but didn't stop me from
buying pilot watches).

The last months i looking at Chopard, JLC, Corum, Omega, UN.
I consider a Memovox, cause i like to hear a minute repeater by myself instead of hear it online.
The Polaris Memovox is an attractive watch i noticed.
There are some things i must overthink.
I need some more time to learn of the watches i consider.
I must say, Omega make a strong attraction on me.
Baume and Mercier also.

My way is to keep it with one luxury watch every year.
What happen is, i am satisfied with what i collected, i bought the watch that give me the peace that blocked the rush to collect.
At this time, it is only study for fun.

I wondered if I might wake up this morning, put it on and think it's too small. Not so, still feels and looks like a great size.
