Makes sense — I also think I’d find the 41mm AT too big, but the 38mm just right.
I had an IWC Mark XV which I also (stupidly) let go which, at 38mm, wore perfectly.
The wave dial is appealing. I’ve got the quartz version (gasp!) of the Bond “Goldeneye” watch. Still wear it now and then.
