Indeed, we’ve seen on more than one occasion where purple dial pieces are used to make a statement or highlight a select group of enthusiasts/clients e.g. MAD1 purple.
In this case, this piece unique with an enamel guilloched purple dial is very much to my liking and is due to be auctioned in Geneva to support leukodystrophies research. Wish I could be there to bid given a great cause and memorable piece.
Perhaps other forum members will have the opportunity.
