That was a great idea, but the case was a bit too big for the too small movement, and... The date was not mandatory. Another point, as far as I remember, it was not issued in a white metal version...

The date on the dial makes it obvious the movement is much smaller...
The date would be further on the periphery of the dial (further away from the center) had the movement been larger. But otherwise, the watch is really quite nice. If they had gotten rid of the date, it'd be almost perfect.

I will try to find the answer again, but we discussed it when the watch was released, in 2013.

Yes, it is 42 mm. 39 or maxi 40 mm would have been much better, or a bigger movement...
I've often found GP to have designs which look great on paper, but they always seem to fall short on the mark
I quite like the 1966 chronograph line, but the movement is too small for the watch, and thus the subdials were poorly positioned.
I think the neobridges line is a great skeleton dial watch, but the proportions of 45mm are too large.
IMHO GP is so close and yet so far.
