for Geross to transfer the pictures of his beautiful Laureato from Facebook to our website (LOLLL), here are a few photos of the GP of my wife that I took today. It’s an old lady with a lot of charm (the watch, not my wife). And I love her curves (from both 😉).
I am not a big fan of date windows. But here it works somehow. And you can see the massive thickness of dial.
The whole watch makes a robust Impression.
Also the bracelet, which is very strong and wears as smooth as silk at the same time. I visited GP's watch manufacture around 15 years ago. I was very impressed at the time because each link of the bracelet was individually milled from a full block of steel.
This Vintage 45 has a long history. It was one of the first watches that I bought for my wife. If I remember correctly this is approximately 25 years ago.
My spouse wore this watch on a daily basis at least 7 or 8 days.
Then it became more and more a safe queen since the first (watch) love of my wife is a Moser.
In the meantime this GP has developed a lovely patina. And my wife rediscovered this beauty a few weeks ago.
The colour of the original dial was a light beige respectively light sand.
The edges look darker in the photo than in reality. But it cannot be denied that the edges have become darker and the color of the entire dial has also darkened.
However that may go.
The last years the watch was stored in our bank vault. The watch has been serviced regularly and has not been exposed to any moisture.
