Girard Perregaux Vintage 1970 Chrono Rattrapante
Dear Gelato Monster, greetings from Caracas, I am the proud owner of a Ref 9012 with Ivory Dial (not white) and its a fantastic watch to own thanks to its great design, case shape and interesting movement. The caliber 8298 is Valjoux 7750 based with modifications and decorations made by Girard Perregaux standards. I have read here in the Forum information provided by the always appreciated Peter CDE, that the Rattrapante function is activated via a column wheel and pincer placed on the dial side. Just key 9012 or/and Peter CDE in the search function and you will find a wealth of information. Finally, as a discontinued model its is very hard to find, however, it looks like some dealers in Japan might help you, please search Girard Perreagaux 9012 in Google and who knows you might get lucky.
