This would be a year-round wearer for me. I saw this piece once about 2 years ago. I loved it in person. I wear a gray dial watch several days per week at a minimum. Which makes my other pieces jealous!
I love grey dials and this particular grey dial too, Michael!

But I just like wearing the L.U.C much more... 🤷🏽♂️ I guess it's just my preference for dress watches... That said, I enjoy wearing it during summer! Best, Emmanuel
Nice to see you post this - not the most frequent watch you post 😊👍🏻

It’s a nice sports watch - I am not a huge fan of integrated bracelets as a concept but this is definitely well made. And this time KFS did not need to drop it into the bucket of ice to demonstrate its water resistance like with the predecessor many moons ago 😁
The salmon dial is a little hard to match. I feel I can only wear it in the summer - with summer clothes (think pastel colored linen shirts). I feel if I had the gray or the blue dial, I'd wear my watch more often and derive even more pleasure from it. True, I really do like the 96-series LUC movement more than the standard movement found in the gray/blue dial. But aesthetically, the gray or blue dial variant is superior in my eyes to the salmon dial variant. Also - a sports watch should have a central seconds hand - the seconds sub-dial is better off on a more elegant watch.
I meant Karl Friedrich. When I met Karl-Fritz, he was still a little boy holding his teddy bear! And I haven't met Karl-Fritz since. But I have a feeling that both of them have superb taste!
That really is a stunning looking Chopard Alpine Eagle 41.

The grey dial just works so well against the case and bracelet and whilst I get the fact it makes for a great summer watch you really can enjoy this beauty anytime IMO.
