37% gold. at 32k usd you can have a 18 karat (75%) gold watch at any other brand.
Tell that to Tudor
Looks like a Bronze Tudor Black Bay. This 50 is a nice homage. lol
And Swatch Group's OMEGA brand has bronze gold too... at half the price, so less 'pain 😎
But the material costs between 9k and 18k are likely under $2k for even a heavy case, so it’s not such a big influence in terms of manufacturing cost.

Wow that is lovely. I guess it will be unobtainable for us mortals or may be just me!
I like it, just sure about the price, seems excessive. Will this be only online or will be available at ADs like Act2? At this level of pricing I would need to try it before committing
555 pieces at over 30k shouldn’t be very hard to get for anyone who’s decided on purchasing
Secondary market on the Blancpain 70th in a few years should follow JLC resale imho. Swatch may be following Richemont's lead.
Plus the Omega Heritage Seamaster 300 with bronze / gold case with METAS certification offers much more for less than half the 'pain.
Aaaah, finally a no date one AND a superb case. Not sure about the metal, though. I would have loved a sandblasted steel or titanium.
Same for me ;) Finally, BP has made a historically correct diver case. Ardently waiting for a titanium/SS sandblasted version.
