Audemars Piguet recently released a rose gold variant of the Code 11.59 Starwheel, so I thought it would be nice to present it side by side with the white gold variant.

The Code 11.59 Starwheel is my favorite from this line.
Live everything here, the dial, the case, the concept. I even think it is my favorite AP! White Gold for me, please.

My personal favorite is the PC. Also blue aventurine and absolutely wonderful in real life.

Well, I find the PC very nice, but for the Code 11.59 I am expecting a daring dial to match with the spirit of the case.
This watch has always occupied an odd place in my perception....
I like it, it has a number of interesting features and is really well executed overall. With that said, it also leaves me cold ?!? I can't put my finger on exactly why that is the case, but it somehow doesn't manage to truly stir my imagination.... Perhaps I would have to see one in person........

The WG for me please, I think it makes the aventurine (which is one of the key attractions, together with the original displaying of time with starwheel) pops more

That said, the rose gold variant seems to have some charm too.

I like the white gold version best.
Somehow it feels more natural for this cool technical dial layout.
