I am generally not into the AP aesthetic but this sand gold RO QP just looks phenomenal. My favorite of the bunch may actually be the code as I love that color blue and the dial. Very cool to remove the pushers as well š some photos from hodkinee .com
The new perpetual movement is a very impressive achievement!
And yes - some beautiful releases. But at the same time, visually it feels like more of the same ...
Seems to be the AP way
Keep making what there are wait lines for and high aftermarket. They tried with the code, which is improving over the last two years. Moving in the right direction. As someone without an AP, and hearing the stories at the boutiques , I would never be able to buy anything anyways š
The regular RO has always been a favorite...
...especially the older models without the week function. But the Code is growing on me...

Gary has the right idea, but it may not be possible.
The new 24h indicator is certainly very useful to preserve damaging the mechanism,
but it looks too functional, imo. And I don't respond to this new dial layout with date at 12 and day/24h and month/leap year at 9 and 3: these two subdials feel busy to me.

So I'm glad they've kept the older design for the 150th limited anniversary edition (month/leap year at 12, day at 9, date at 3).
I also like better the layout of the ultra-thin, with moon phase at 12 and two additional subdials for the day/night and leap year indication.
