Thank you! I love the size -- I have a couple of Offshores that have been sitting in the safe as I have moved to smaller watches and this one has a lot of the appeal of the Offshore, but fits really nicely. This model was created for the 30th anniversary of the Royal Oak and dedicated to the Geneva based Alinghi sailing team, winning of the 2003 America's Cup in Auckland (New Zealand).
Ah, okay, it was a celebration of their championship. That then is a nice commemoration.👍🏽

AP made few iterations of Alinghi team
Yours is called "city of sales", 39mm, (ref 25979ST)
In 2005 they made 1935 units of "Offshore Team Alinghi Polaris" , 44mm in size (some call it 42), (ref 26040ST.OO.D002CA.01)
They alao made 2 models in gold, in carbon, and one in Platinum. ,
I was under the impression the forged carbon came in 2007 with the 44mm 26062...
A total of 2007 pieces were made:
