Since quite a while friends around me are telling me I miss that one in my collection. Until now I resisted because I can’t get all the ones I like. 
But my friend Stephan 😈 was too kind and let me try it for a while...
That 15202 is incredible, the light plays with the dial to give a different hue according to the light and dial orientation...

The Royal Oak 15202 is really an amazing reference.
It can be worn in virtually any environment. I don't subject mine to strenuous activities, and don't consider that the best role for the watch, but it is a near perfect timepiece in every other way.

The RO is a beauty that must be enjoyed in the right circumstances. Imho it goes well in every circumstances formal or with a pair of jeans but it is everything but a tool watch

A AB or C series is top condition with papers is simply at least double price vs list price of 15202...
Maybe for a A, but for a C Series, even with the right dial, I think it is lower. [nt]

You are probably right...
...for a tropical (=a nicer word for oxidised) dial and without papers but a full original in really nice condition with b&p I believe the today’s market price is definitely above. The 5402 slowly follows the PP 3700 at a distance of course but similar evolution.
But who tells you that i did not choose Nico ?

I often think to myself, if just one watch? This one. And I really mean that. I also would wear it anywhere, any occasion, except diving or some nonsense where 99.9% of us don't even take our dive watches... but yes... THE WATCH. I own others more valuable etc, but if I HAD to reduce to ONE. While I appreciate the vintage models...( and owned one years ago) This one, the new one, with blue date wheel. The movement treatment is a collector's dream. The clasp is a massive upgrade. The whole is a new level RO. There is a reason THIS REF. skyrocketed in value. GET!!!!
