Often, the original is unsurpassable. Personally, I find this to be the case with the Reverso Répétiotion Minuets as well. The dimensions are simply perfect. The 2026 model—especially the guilloché enameled dial—is also well done, but it doesn't quite measure up to the original. What is your opinion?

The original Reverso Répétition Minutes really is something special. You are right about the proportions. They got everything just right back then. That guilloché work under the rose gold is absolutely singing in your photo.

Aesthetically speaking, your Reverso is a pure jewel. Acoustically, the new one is superior.

The new Reverso repeater has a beautiful dial, but I really dislike the repeater slide - why is it crown side? It's necessarily small due to the lack of space and it looks crowded and stingy to me.
My opinion only, of course.
