Great looking vintage LeCoultre Chronograph.
Whilst the dial colour is really nice I am finding the sub dial placements more than a little strange and it's making me feel slightly uncomfortable about them.

I'm really not sure as looking at other chronographs they are also in a similar placement.
Yet on this one and the Minerva you posted too something just feels off maybe it's their size and the smaller hour markers that are throwing me or it could just must be me.

A great shot dear Nicolas which reminds me of our nice meeting in Paris.
It is not easy to find but I remember that another member of our community owned an identical watch.
It was a fortunate find several years ago which I rejected at first because I thought it had a fake dial but a few days after refusing the offering I found a post of an exact example in a well known Internet platform which confirmed this configuration.
So… I quickly phoned the watch shop and asked if it was still in stock.
I was lucky they still had it and I literally flew that afternoon to take it home!!
It’s a funny story indeed! And it is a lovely little watch.
Some years ago I was introduced to a JLC Manager for the South American market visiting my city and I was wearing this watch.
He was surprised with its dial and asked my permission to take a few shots. He said he wished to show it to the big Brass at Geneve so they would learn which kind of pretty things they had made in the past! Lol!
