The JLC Reverso Art Deco is - in my opinion - the embodiment of pure emotion. It has succeeded in merging material, form and color into a harmony in a way that I have hardly ever seen before.

Wonderful all around...front and back is rich with wonderful details and the design is just fantastic! That dial is gorgeous!
This is a total marvel, from both sides!
One tiny tiny change that I maybe would change are the two little dots at 3 and 9. I would replace them by little triangles in the same style as the other hour markers.

IMO, the prettiest Reverso ever made...
and a design that should be updated, now that JLC's rare handcrafts has all been brought in house (I believe the original series was Jochen Benzinger).

These special limited pieces (900 in rose gold, 200 in white gold) were produced between 1992 and 2002
only in small quantities due to the high level of effort involved. I very much doubt that Mr. Jochen Benzinger was involved, I found no evidence of this. But yes, today's Benzinger watches show similarities.

The salmon dial, proportions, detailing are all exquisite. And that’s before you turn it over and see the painstaking work on the movement.
