Love the Amvox and the jacket (and the car).

I have just been doing some indoor rock climbing with my daughter and didn’t want to risk anything Swiss and expensive!

I'm driving the slightly boring Tesla this weekend. 

The AMG will bankrupt some people on its fuel consumption. 17 Liters per 100 km on the open road. Even more in the city. Sometimes driving it to a restaurant in the wine country, about 200 km round trip, it eats around as much money in fuel as I do in steak! When I realized that, there was an ironic moment. I once remember parking a car in Manhattan for a dinner. When I came out, the car's parking bill was about $50 USD and much as my portion of the dinner bill was not much more! I was upset!

But then the speed limit chokes that pleasure too. Here in America, we often see cars with 5L or 6L engines. OFTEN! And there are a lot of pick up trucks too, many with fairly large engines. And yet, our speed limit on the highway in California is a paltry 105 kph! C'mon, cars can do that easily with a 1.5 liter engine. The 2018 BMW 330i with a 2.0 liter engine is so darn quick nowadays, it reminds me of my much older BMW 545i with a 4.4 liter V8 engine!
