What a Friday… and the 13th no less
My wife and I were having steak dinner at home last night when her water suddenly broke, 2 weeks ahead of schedule! We weren’t expecting it but 7 hours later in the wee morning hours we welcomed our first child, a beautiful baby girl to the world. I was planning to wear my Reverso but nothing from last night went to plan, except that my wife and daughter are happy and healthy. I was simply wearing the watch I wore to work yesterday, which isn’t a bad choice either! Which watch do you choose for momentous occasions? Have a happy Friday everyone.

Your world is about to flip upside down but in a great way!! I cannot even remember which watch I was wearing. I was just so focused on being there for my wife and praying that my kids were healthy. I do recall listening to my favorite artist when they were born and the song being “I saw God today” by the great George Strait

Everything happened so fast, one minute we were eating dinner and about to watch a show, the next we were just getting the fluid tested to confirm it was amniotic. When we arrived to the hospital she was contracting and was already dilated 5cm!
It will be a huge change and an adventure. We’re excited!

I know how that goes. We went to the OB/GYN and were told
"you have a couple more weeks easily" Well, that night we were
in the hospital with a newborn son. Once you become a parent
and obviously even before, nothing goes according to plan.
No kidding!
We were supposed to watch a TV show that night… never thought we’d be having a baby instead!
