Funnily, Jaeger Lecoultre seems to have taken the inspiration of the fumé dial from this Polaris II, which came a bit later with the Polaris Geographique World Time, in 2018, and the Polaris Date, this year.
Still, this Polaris Automatique is cool looking.

Coming back to today's watches, the Polaris Automatic performs well from what I heard. It is not the case of each model of the collection which is for me too large.

I've never owned a JLC but have much respect for them. The new Polaris is VERY intruguing. Being a big blue dail lover pics alone have made me think I'd have a hard time keeping the
credit card in my wallet when I finally see one in person. Now I realize there is a better and even more compelling vintage version. W O W !!! What a beauty!
The vintage is far from being unobtainable. You just have to be patient to find one in great condition, but it is really doable. [nt]
