The Blue and Brown Scale are my favorite Memovox Ref E 855, if we don't count the vintage Deep Sea Alarm and the vintage Polaris.
These dials are just incredible.
Between the two, the steel blue is my natural favorite. But I wouldn't mind making an exception for this colored gold version.
Both of these watches are not my ownership, but the Blue is on the top of my wish list. One of the few 4 or 5 vintage JLC I am still hunting.

You're right, the most attractive models in the 855 line, and (because of that?) the most difficult to put an hand on. It's impressive how the prices for these two models have increased over the last years.

Two elements stand out
On both models the sharp contrast of the solid-color chapter rings "pop" against the milder colors of the dial base. Second, there's a special allure to the meandering color of these dials. It's almost like looking at shifting sands, drifting clouds, or foam in the surf... changing states of imagery capture the mind and imagination more firmly than static subjects.

last time we discussed these scale dials 855, you mentioned that the Manufacture might have somewhere, in their archives, information about the number of dials produced for these two models.
Do you think they could have this info and would be willing to share it ?
