Got an e-mail from JLC this morning with a preview of a limited edition of the Geophysic TS.
A small special edition limited to 100 pieces, only available on-line from Dec. 5.

I am not someone that only likes watches with no date, but on this one I would very much prefer it without the date

If they really had to keep the date...
Perhaps one with a dark blue background (instead of white) might look better?
Looks very good.
And adds some strength to the otherwise quite restrained aesthetics of the True Seconds.

Can't deny that it looks well, but blue is starting to get a little bit passé.
It gives the impression that when brands see sales flagging, they throw out a blue option to try to re-ignite interest.

As we have said many times before
..I would have liked the True Second better if it had been presented as a Geomatic. Geophysic features such as the name and lume plots on the rehaut instead of on the dial are simply foreign elements.
This model goes one step further and adds another Geophysic feature in the form of the cross-hairs on the dial; for me that is a bridge too far.
