Horological Meandering

.. why?  Just a regular GTG and this month, someone got the delivery of one of the last 5078P - but since there were other brands, I post this on HoMe.

And here comes another 5078P owner who has owned it for several years - three brothers (?) shot.

Wow, and 002 with white strap - cool!

And Lyon, Bouchon cuisine....  Very nice in Kagurazaka.... Tokyo's sort of "French Quarter".

Sorry, forgot to take before eating - this was White Asparagus cold soup and white asparagus with trouffle sauce.

.. member of the gtg was RM027.  Hahaha.

May I ask in the first video, the first guy says something like "the sound is..." or "...sound" while the second one says something like "chuutohanpa" then got cut off (probably referring to the pause in the minute repeater).

... to the first owner, his 78P is a bit smaller sound, while the second voice is of the second (new) owner and he just said that the time for MR testing was a bit less ideal.  We did it on the actual time.

Sorry I wasn't able to join for this epic event.  I think I know all the parties and am quite jealous.  I love the individual sound of each of the minute repeaters -- it's nice to see their individuality based on age, parts, and construction by the master watchmakers at Patek.  Let's have French food together at the end of the month!

Wow, 2 MRs in one place! Seems like it was a great gathering! I remember seeing a 5078P at one of the largest PP ADs in Tokyo. I wonder if the AD owner also participated in this dinner event.
