Omega 60.8:

A very nice picture of a heat-blued steel hairspring.  I think these pictures here are matching nicely:



A standard Nivarox hairspring. It needs not to be blued.



Silicium 1.1.1 hairspring. Not the edgy outlines - it has a rectangular cross-section, since it is not made from a round wire.

My Chronomaster went to a complete maintenance and my watchmaker, he is doing this with all watches, sent with the watch a CD with 200+ pictures of his work.

This one is a pic of the 410Z movement during the "dismantling" phase:

...is where the D800E is in its element with its ultra high resolution -- and a straight-on shot makes it easy to get everything comfortably within the DOF available. 

Getting the lighting down to the chain and fusee was another matter...

I like picture 2 very much. My eyes are drawn to the tourbillon cage where it is in focus and the wording tourbillon . I like how the watch is framed and the great lighting.

becomes very interesting to view when shot in macro. This is a Seiko 7s26 caliber from a Seiko 5.
