The watches appear to be nicely crafted and many (most, all ?) have in house movements. In the aftermarket sales segment the discounts from MSRP are huge. Even new ones command big discounts. Are the MSRPs inflated, the quality not quite there or is it something else ?
Their propaganda might give an Armand Nicolet model number for their movements, but their just rebadged ETAs as far as I've seen. Nothing new - many companies have been doing this for years:
I'd like to see their in-house movements if they truly do have any.
Tried to copy and paste the statement; Does not work.
After re-reading it they kind of dance around the in-house movement claim a bit. Seems when it was taken over in the 80's (?) there was a stash of movements that they modified to their own spec. I now assume even those are in their limited editions not the rank and file watches.
This is why I ask questions. I am not defending Armand Nicolet just trying to get a feel for their products.
dont worry what other people think, if you like them thats good enough

this is not a forum where you follow the crowd probably because that would bankrupt a lot of people. you buy what you like and you wont get criticised for doing so. the worst you'll get is very few comments about it.
