the design of the case is rather appealing.

It does look like it fits well on the wrist.

I figure that it permits you to change the dial if you want to suit your mood.

The red one almost comes out better in the picture.

a custom case and strap so you can wear it on your wrist instead of putting it in your pocket or clipped to your shirt. There's an option to make the ipod show a clock when it wakes up.

I believe there are 2 versions.  This one is more permanent where the i-pod is fixed in with screws and there is another version where the i-pod 'click's' into place....I think they are great and a good reason to get an i-pod as I need an excuse to update my 8G Nano.

I assume you can still attach the headphones..?

The portability coupled with bluetooth (additional piece of hardware required) make for a very powerful combination.

It looked a little bulky on that person's wrist IMO since the case isn't curved but it did catch my attention today.

So is this another Apple product that Apple fanatics will buy?

I would wait because there are many such ipod watch cases in the market today, almost all are inexpensive and bad looking. Most of those don't allow charging the ipod without taking them out of the case. Imaging doing that once a day? dreadful.

Those which does, looks awefull and cheap!

lastly, the ipod itself, great but it doesn't have wifi, this is missing and Apple could be introducing the next ipod nano with one, who knows, but that would be the ipod nano i would buy and use as a watch to sync all my calendars, contacts, check global weather, notifications etc, everything on the move anywhere in the world. That would be the time for me to get one well if the future ipod nano will include GPS, darn, just like shrinking the iphone 4G into the size of ipod nano without the built in clip, that would be the day

It's strange/unnatural enough to carry a phone-computer, and fiddle with it endlessly... but to attach it to the wrist? It makes me think of Huxley's Brave New World, where he predicted that people will not need to be 'enslaved'--they will do it to themselves. Not to be SO dramatic, but I already have a love/hate thing with my Droid. Life was better without them! (except the phone function.)
