Rockin’ a new stack and loving it!
Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra. Always loved it and bought it for my bride. Now that men are wearing them I am alI over it. I’m easy (comfortable) with them and zero problem “pulling it off.” Love the craftsmanship. There is a video of how the “motifs” are made and it’s art like watchmaking. So I appreciate them for the workmanship. The more someone may not like it the more I do! I am at the age where I don’t give a “F” what anyone else thinks. I am amazed at the amount of compliments I get from both women and men. Rock on brothers and sisters!!!!!

I’ve bought earrings, and bracelets and
necklaces for both y wife and daughter. I love jewelry and have always loved the Vintage Alhambra collection. These are my own. But I will let the missus wear them as well.
There's a baseball player who wears the Alhambra necklace.
There's a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball player who wears this necklace while playing baseball. I was at a friend's members' club one day and other members were noticing it was a very visible necklace on the TV screen. Another member commented at first that the player was fiddling too much with it, making it an advertisement, and the necklace stole the show and wore the player. At first I was inclined to agree - he was fiddling with the necklace a lot that it did look like a blatant advertisement or shill, but then I realized, my opinion and the member's opinion didn't matter - as long as the wearer was happy to wear it!
I saw the necklace the Dodger was
wearing. It looked totally cool. I did not notice him fidgeting with it. Now if I only had his baseball skills . . .

But it takes most of us some time, some years and experience, to be comfortable and confident in one’s own way.
You had this bracelet on during the VC/Hodinkee interview. I noticed it immediately. It’s super cool.
A little story for you. About 7-8 years ago we had a WPS lunch in NYC. Thomas Mao was there, as was Joe P and our resident Druid (I think). I was wearing a Cartier Love bracelet, which I worn continuously for about 15 years. One of our members, can’t recall who it was, was really fixated on the bracelet and why I, as a man, was wearing it. It was a bit odd, to the point of being “let’s talk about watches now” and move on! But like you I’m at the point where “I do me”. 😂

I love Cartier bracelet also. I wear the Just En Clous (nail bracelet) often and love it too. Have you seen that they introduced a new Love bracelet that is articulated and moves unlike the fixed bangle? It’s nice. I am tempted!
I did see that, not in the metal yet though.
I’m not sure what I think of it, same with the cuff versions the brought out a while back.
I prefer the classic. Once you’re locked in there’s no getting out. I’m a purist ! LOL
