Yes, all understandable.
You have given so much to this Community. You are a real leader here. Not just the number of posts (which I know you lead as well!), but the knowledge, the sincerity, the friendship you offer to all. It is sad to know it would be a real struggle for you to reacquire the same watch. But in this manner, not only can you have it back, but I believe it will be even more enjoyable than before. And the bad experience can be erased from your mind, replaced by this more meaningful one.

First of all allow me to introduce myself: I started collecting watches only few years ago and this purist app has taught me a lot. Thanks for that
There are those fortunate enough to be able to buy their holy grails others unfortunately can not afford them
But stealing a watch is like any form of theft. It’s awefull it’s threatening it’s frightening.
So yes count me in for the USD 100, but I would very much support the idea of developing such a register of stolen watches. I would even consider pledging some recourses to it if the plan becomes serious and viable.
We could think of brand sponsored registers or member sponsored registers etc etc
In short my 100 bucks for nico are in, my support for register is offered.

Question - do any of the European members have a local dealer the watch could be purchased from?
Nicolas does not have his own paypal account, but could set one up. But if we have a local member who could collect the funds and buy the watch, that would work too.
