My "older" Master Geographic with hunter back. Best of both worlds in my opinion and in this case (pun intended) I like the engraving as well.

A mystery lies below. I suspect service may be an issue but then again a small hinge and a snap shut should last a while.

Precision machined back
The back fits very snuggly with clearly very tight tolerances. Watch is around15 years old and no issues with the back side at all.
The hinge isn't as refined as say my Patek 5227 pieces, but I still like the execution.

Agreed on " best of both worlds ". For those who are not too fan of sapphire case backs...
And for those who want to be free to have a look at the movement, this is the best, but too rare solution.
I hope brands will go back to this hunter case backs more often.

Looks great & yes a hunter back is a fabulous thing. I made a mistake on passing on a white gold Master Moon with a hunter back.
