Greetings Purists,

I've been playing with strap changes on the MIH watch since I received it last November. For me, the OEM rubber strap left something to be desired, as it seemed too thin for the thickness of the case. Thus I've tried several different combinations on the MIH, several of which I like very much. But I have trouble settling on which is my favorite, and now pose the question to you who are wiser in these things.

Thanks for your input! This is such a wonderful watch to wear.

Which strap combination do you prefer on the MIH watch?

Here are your choices:

Green leather/large deployant clasp:






Tan rugged leather/OEM Ti buckle:








Honey alligator:








Di-Modell Chronissimo black leather/rubber, white stitching:

i think the tan rugged jobby is good for daily wear as well as the black chronissimo when you fancy a change. the tan croc looks good for more important occasions. keep them all, thats what i think.

Naturally you don't like the one I'm currently wearing. Can I ask what you don't like about it? I'm torn...sure wish the clasp was Ti...

Which 22mm leather strap are you using ? I can't seem to find a straight 22mm buckle end starp, short of using a panerai strap ! Thanks.

Daniel, I like the rugged tan strap best (the option following the green leather).  The shade of both the hide and contrasting stitching warm up the case a bit, and serve to echo the orange elements on the dial.  Looks great!  My second choice after that would be the honey alligator.

and the black with white stitching doesn't fit at all IMHO.
More the style than the colors, somehow a no go with the Bauhaus style.
It looks like you are having a good time with that watch.

The style is to "baroque" for my taste and I don't think it fits well with the clean and cool lines of the MIH.
Your black with white stitching is much better, 'though I do like the color contrast of a non-black band.

I'm not sure any look just right... what about a cool kevlar, like on the IWC doppel or GO Nav?

I actually like all the combinations you show! If i had to make a choice, the first strap would be my favorite, but the Sinn deployant seems a bit to big though.
