This is an amazing watch.

I sometimes think of the watch as 'flawed elegance.'  While it lacks all the refinements of many pieces, I'm wholly taken by its presence and its Mies van der Rohe appeal.

BTW:  Where did you find that strap.  I like it better than the rubber strap.

Simple in appearance yet never produced before. A testament to the creative midns of Paul Gerber, Ludwig Oechslin and Christian Gafner. I had the honor of seeing the original, Ludwig produced watch in a beaten up brass case and new at the time that it is was a unique complication. I was excited to see it finally produced in a watch and immediately placed an oder. I have been delighted with it ever since.

not very attractive IMHO.  And in the end it comes down to how much I enjoy seeing it on my wrist.

a detailed write up on it as i'm interested to see what is unique about the movement.

at its best.   The case diameter is 41-42 mm (42 mm officially) without crown......height about 14-15 mm by my measurement.

The MIH clearly is a "Stealth" piece, appreciated generally only by those knowledgeable as to its design/functions.  And it performs them elegantly.

We do seem to have a representative ownership among the Purists.
