Once one gets to handle one of these gems, there is no turning back! My baptism was in Baselworld 2000, when I got to meet Vianney at the AHCI stand, where he was exhibiting that year. He had a Rose Gold execution on display and I got stopped in my tracks as I passed by on my way to a big brand meeting. A brief 5 minute visit and a chance to strap it on my wrist, I was smitten. Having only seen it in a watch magazine prior, it made my day, no week actually probably year horologically speaking! Vianney didn’t speak much English at the time, so I didn’t get much info, suffice to say I had a “moment” and that was good enough. What a treat and I’ll not forget it. Since then I’ve had many an opportunity to handle these pieces and it still ranks up there as one of the all time great horological creations. Huge congrats Larry on this piece. I know you enjoy it tremendously and you are a great supporter of Vianney, bravo to you. Cheers, Tim
