bovet and this watch design usually isnt my type of thing but the craftsmanship and artistry of this piece is undeniable.  wow!

However, for this white metal white dial version, it is not that ornate as people may suggest. Three meters away, to a non-watch-person, it just looks like any white metal dress watch with some cool design. With that being said, if it is not for a special occation, I would just put it on my desk for satisfying my guilty pleasure.

It is called Nio, a Chinese eletric car company, which is now also available in some European countries, including Germany. My car costs me more than 65K USD, three years ago, and it serves me very well. It is lower than the MSRP of the Bovet, but I got it as a pre-owned one, so...

65K? that's almost Benz, BMW territory. If you treat your Bovet right, it will serve you longer than the Nio, or almost any new car! 🤭 Enjoy it, stunning design and execution.

Actually, in China, Nio's average selling price is higher than BMW and Audi now. Of course, it is also due to that those German brands like to sell some trimmed down versions here for better selling number. Cheers!

Both Nio and Bovet are underappreciated, in my opinion.

Should've sold it when it was high. But oh well. Can't win them all. How's the car? Are you happy with it? What did you drive before this car? Do you own the battery or are you leasing the battery?

I like it a lot! (used to drive a BMW 3-series when I was working in US.) I was hasitating for buying another watch or replacing my car for a new EC7, and now you know my choice. It is not because the new EC7 is not attractive, it is just because that I am still very satisfied with my current EC6. I do battery swap every time, and I spent 0 cent on the electricity fee for this car in past two years. The most satisfying part is Nio's service. I can talk about their nice things all day.
It seems to me that this is a company that actually puts their customers' interest in front of their stockholders', which should be a good thing for the stockholders in a long run. Hence, I also own some of their stocks. (I am Chinese, and I can be biased.)

It is called Virtuoso VII, and you can find more info on bovet's website. However, it now only shows those newer versions with fancy-schmancy dials. Except those dials (and straps), they should be identical. Please also take a look at this article:

I love bovet that is one of my fav pieces! so cool! pls share more pics! btws, i honestly prefer these types of natural/amateur shots because i feel it gives a more accurate demonstration of how the watch looks, cuz if the watch still looks amazing in amateur shoots, then it is super amazing!
