the dial is definitely unique and the "blackness" is beautiful
there's a moonphase version on this dial and i would have bought it if it was available back then
Personally... I don't think it is
The reason being is that yes, the dial is very black, but that doesn't fully mitigate the effects of the sapphire glass in front of the dial. Perhaps VB while wearing Polarized glasses would be a better experience but personally while I think its cool and rarely seen in horology, I don't think its that much of a significant upgrade.
In the shot below... I went out of my way to find an angle while shooting this to make it look super black.
