the black looks more iconic. I like the modified 7750 movement and how it is so undecorated and minimalistic under Richard's direction, it will be a pity not to see it.
Are you still enjoying your TZ20? Do you know what's the thickness of that watch and how you feel about it? I know you have great sensibility on vintage pieces so I'm curious on your thoughts on thickness of a watch case.
recently discovered about the TZ20 piece and I think the dial is totally amazing, so is the COC. A friend of mine has a great interest in Habring's watches after seeing mine and is curious about his other watches, especially the thickness when compared to mine. It is not easy for him to find a Habring to try on his wrist as they are so rare, like all independent makers. This Shellman edition reminds me very much of the proportion of Roger Smith series 2 in 38mm. The shape and height look extremely similar.
I believe the first pic is from Massena Lab? William is simply brilliant!!! The TZ one is very amazing too. I'm in awe with the dial!!! Do you by any chance know the height of the TZ COS piece? I understand that it is 42mm but I cannot find any mention of its height. I really love the design of these two pieces.
for a 42mm watch at 12mm height, it is actually not thick. Roger Smith Series 2, Datograph and Patek 3970 are all around 13-13.5mm. I was hoping that the COS watch is below 14mm . This is great news.
