Marco Lang has finally given in and made a tourbillon. And as we have come to expect from him it is not just any tourbillon. Using a case and movement architecture similar to the Georg introduced last year the Anton is simply gorgous. You can see the similarities and differences of the two models in the side-by-side pictures. From the movement side the Anton is simpler as a part of the movement is transported into the tourbillon. The typical Lang & Heyne finishing just stunning as is the enamel dial.
from one of the most underrated independent watchmakers. For my part, I prefer the time-only version - the caseback is even more stunning, and the blued hands are killer. The only aspect I donβt like is the three-lug strap attachment system. I find this rather weird looking. L&H should try a new lug design. As matters stand, they provide some of the best value in horology. Love the English-style gilt frosted finishing too.

The backside of time only is jaw dropping. Simplicity ( any reference to real facts or persons is purely coincidental π) at its best ππππ
Sheer magnificence. Everything about the Anton and the Georg is true art. The tourbillion screams my name. Marco honors his family heritage and is a perfectionist in all regards. [nt]
