Ho Hum; maybe that's why I do not have any Urwerke

Thanks for the feedback.

I have no Urwerke watches.

More importantly, my unerringly accurate arbiter of trends and fashion - the current Mrs MTF - did not get excited about any Urwerke watches, ever.

She has spotted every major trend and success in watches since 2000.  Of course, I never listen and she reminds me of the ones that I did not get BEFORE they became collectors' icons.

Can you believe that I passed on the original Ulysse Nardin Freak series 1 offered to me by the late Rolf Schnyder for a little over USD 18k? sad

Cie la Vie.

MTF

Excellent article Don!

You enjoyed a lot the watch and it deserves it.

To be honest with you, it is not my fav Urwerk but I have to congratulate Urwerk for having walked on a different path with this colorful approach.

Thanks for the great review and pictures Don! Urwerk will always be one of my favorite brands out there! Their innovation in time indication, design and execution just does it for me. Hopefully I can own one in this lifetime smile

I think I saw some posts online on the Lemon and Orange but with a black strap. Those look killer!

Hmmm, too, trying hard to love this one

as I love everything else from La Maison Urwerk. Unfortunately, this one just appears plasticky and cheap to my eyes. It just does not ooze the refinement and finish of other Urwerk models. Maybe I'll think differently if I see it in the metal....

Thanks for the great report, Don!

Interesting watch and a great effort from Urwerk

I like the idea and concept, and was impressed when I handled it a few months ago when they brought the watches here to show some of us in Kuala Lumpur. I just couldn't pull off the orange though, even though I like the playfulness of the watch.

What a fantastic post!

I love all your pics and especially the "wrist shot." I bet nobody in a million years would guess this an expensive timepiece with such intricacies. Thanks for sharing!!!

Some Lemon pics

I had a quick chance to try on a 105-TA Lemon today.
Just the different color gives the watch a very different feeling.
The yellow is intriguing, not canary yellow, not going into lime as some of my pictures seem to be, but yes, not a simple yellow.
A matter of taste, orange or lemon.
