Vacheron's website. Price: 35.000€ / $32,000. But I'm personally not interested (by steel watches in general and by yet another blue dial one in particular).
It's great this exists as I understand the appetite for it, but I'd still take its modern descendent over the original design. I'm sure many will disagree but the Malte cross on the case feels unnecessary here, while true to the original it feels a little over branded and overly decorative.
I don't like the Malte cross on the case at all - even if it is faithful to the original design. It just looks out of place and over the top to my eye. The watch is lovely but is too small for my wrist and I ultimately prefer the design/size of the Overseas. Still, it's nice to see VC come out with something special for this anniversary year. Those who do opt to buy it will have something very special indeed.
I have always liked the 222 in YG since its release. The watch fits perfectly and the brushed bracelet is beautiful. That said, I couldn't see myself wearing the gold bracelet, not my style.

Since first laying eyes on it, I have been asking for a SS version. Now it is here and I am anxious to see if it gives the same feel on the wrist and yes I am inquiring.
